Between 500 and 3000 years? They are both historically and emphatically wrong. Israel's false claims of ownership of Palestinian lands are purely religious fantasy and bear no relation to facts.
It has in actual fact took since Truman's nuclear threat in 1948 to get where we are today and despite Trump's air of optimism, my view is that it is far too early to say that this deal is going to be successful, given Israel's history of unilaterally breaching such deals and the fact that there are no POW's for them to worry about. This deal has not even been endorsed by the Security Council at the UN! Why not? There is a long and rocky path towards a Palestinian state that includes the West Bank as well as Gaza!
