...that building a third runway at Heathrow is in Britain's economic interest, or if it will just enable more tourists to go and lie on foreign beaches where they are no longer welcome. Taking foreign holidays is not only bad for the environment, it's bad for the economy as you are spending your money over there and not over here!
Today's tragic accident in the US, is a timely reminder as well of the dangers of having too many aircraft in the skies at the same time.
Then there's the question of where do we get the extra fuel from, without drilling in the N Sea or importing from Russia and Iran?
