There are three external (not related to original fitups) reasons that may have instigated a need for these powers to be renewed. All in 2015 after it became clear there would be a (fixed) Brexit referendum, The first I know was a renewal, the other two possibly. the first early Sep 2015 after unlawful section that was cancelled the following day. Second, well I fled to Ireland mid September but I don't think that counts as the UK was still in the EU at that time, but after being (almost fatally) poisoned in Dublin, I went to the Russian embassy. Going in there is like leaving the EU and going to Russia. When inside they said I had to go to their Embassy in Edinburgh because I was a Scottish (UK) citizen, so I did, it took me a while to get across the Irish sea without money but got to Russian Embassy in Edinburgh on the 12th October 2015, back in Russia again. They still refused me asylum, so what was their game telling me to go there? Were they trying to get me back to the UK where (unlike in Ireland) I have some protection against lethal poison? Russia had reason to want the (fixed by me) Brexit Referendum to go ahead, while Ireland (who tried to kill me) did not! Anyway that was the final time I left the UK (for Russia) so did they have to renew these powers after I stepped out of the Russian Embassy on the 12th?
I.have said many times that I link a (forced on Israel) ceasefire with the potential blackmail end game, Ukraine as well but no sign of that. My point is that there are ceasefire talks in progress and Trump is reportedly going to fly to Egypt on Saturday 11 October, that's one day before the potential renewal date.. we shall see what (if anything) happens. I never get exited about these possibilities as so many have already been and gone!
