I am not an advocate of the death penalty, due to the high chance of an irreversible miscarriage. Especially when there is an element of revenge (relative) instead of unbiased justice. However this is their way of doing things and we have to respect that.
I've said it before, America plugs people into the mains, injects lethal chemicals into them, shoots people (like here). Although America doesn't allow relatives of a victim to pull the trigger, they DO allow them in to gloat, which is not all that different. So if you respect America's way of doing things, you MUST respect Afghanistan's. Anything else is just Islamophobia.
