I have a so called smart meter with Utilita for my electricity and for the last two and a half years I have had no problems topping up online. I just put in my postcode and utilita card number and it asks how much I want to top up with? Today I put my postcode and card number in and all I get is 'sorry we can't find that account' I have tried on my phone (as normal) and on my PC.
So either this evil game will be over by the time my emergency credit runs out or more likely they are going to try and starve me of electricity assuming I can't get my supplier changed before it runs out!
