It's the only way the world can stop this ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people. When fourteen out of fifteen permanent members repeatedly vote for a ceasefire but their will is over ruled by one Pro Israeli member, there is something far, far wrong with the mechanisms at the United Nations.

There should be a vote in the General assembly on whether (or not) to remove the Veto power and replace it with a two thirds majority vote at the Security council and if a majority of Countries vote in favour, it MUST be adopted ASAP.

Other reforms can be looked at as well, like increasing permanent member to say 21, making some permanent (top 10 by GDP eg) and others rotational etc. This antiquated system where 5 victors of WW2 can look after their own interests and that of their friends and allies with the veto, HAS to go!
