I would say the US are in a weaker negotiating position than they were before they started this unjust (during those negotiations) war, Trump knows he's running low on expensive interceptors to protect the Zionists and the Arab collaborators from Iran's seemingly endless supply of missiles and drones. He knows if he carries out his threat to bomb energy infrastructure, the whole of the middle east will be plunged into darkness and that infamous strait will remain well and truly closed and if he commits ground troops, he risks another humiliating Vietnam styled defeat, and instead of negotiating in good faith (unlike last two times), he sends his two Pro Israeli negotiators to safeguard Israeli, not US interests.
