...but they can be changed through negotiation. No disrespect to America but what has the Ukraine conflict got to do with them, and why do they have that Pro Israeli Witkoff guy involved? Except for the fact that they (US) are an occupying power in Europe. The Eastern part of Ukraine and Crimea are more Russian than Ukrainian anyway! (from Soviet times), however Von Der Leyer is right, you can't change borders by force as it's a recipe for future conflict. You can however change borders through negotiation and mutual consent. NO change to Ukraine's borders should be allowed without Russia returning the illegally occupied territory of Kaliningrad to European control.
