Bot Attack

so my rock music forum has come under a sustained American (trumpity trump) spam bot attack over the last few days. None of these bots are in the stopforumspam database as those get automatically blocked, (they are now), really sophisticated with hundreds of IP addresses at their disposal, here's a screenshot of the amount of IP address's I've had to ban. the'*' bans all the numbers in that range as they sign up with xx.xx.xx24, them xx.xx.xx.25 etc.

...and here-s the amount of IP's a single banned user (spambot) has used to access my site! They don't give up easy.

Still not them all but you get the idea!

Registrations are disabled on this site as it's read only, so they can't target this site with their reserved spambots. I say reserved, because if they were normal commercial spambots targeting everyone's forum and not just mine, they would be in stopforumspam's database multiple times, but they are not. All brand new, never been used until now.
