You can't 'annihilate' Hamas without killing all the frightened, oppressed and starved (by Israel) civilian population that they represent, most of whom are women an children. Also you can't negotiate in good faith with a gun literally pointed at your opponents head!

Witkoff being Jewish is NOT an honest broker for this conflict, he will ALWAYS be biased towards Israel. of course Hamas wants a permanent end to the suffering of their people, any fool can see that. it is Israel that wants to prolong the war as it's the only way to Ethnically cleanse the Gaza Strip and claim it for themselves!!!
