Evident Corruption

So a couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I had that Irate special forces guy at my door threatening all sorts but doing nothing because I was playing music during the day. Since then I have had letters from the housing association threatening eviction if I do not stop playing music!

Thing is as soon as I stop listening to music, they start torturing me with banging, hammering and Sthil saws.

So I thought OK I will get a set of HiFi headphones so I can block out the torture merchants, without making complainable noise. Brilliant...or so I thought!!!

On the 1st April (April fools day) I ordered up an expensive (for someone on UC) pair of headphones from ebay, the seller gives himself a ten day window for delivery just to be on the safe side but states that average delivery time is three days. So April 10th is the latest legitimate day for them to arrive, it's now the 11th with still no sign. The seller is apologetic and distraught as he knows he may get negative feedback. when actually it's not his fault as he shipped them in good time (there is continuous dog barking outside right now) I know who (corrupt torture merchants) are abusing their authority to hold the shipment back!

So these headphones have still not arrived and no further tacking updates 15 days after shipment, I'm still not blaming the sender, he's as much a victim of this corrupt and blackmailed Regime as I. I do have a plan B but obviously won't reveal it yet. Here's the ebay sellers latest despairing reply.

Plsn B has been enacted, I cancelled that ebay order (hoping to get money back) and got headphones (that work) from Argos after my (pointlessly) enforced visit to the JC.
