Israel will not even allow temporary housing into the strip, do you really think they will allow permanent housing to be built after spending the last two years demolishing all the housing stock? It is not only bomb damage, they have been systematically demolishing housing with explosives!

If Palestinians want to dig holes on their own land, that's their business! There must be a reason for the holes. Could it be they are trying to shelter from an aggressive trigger happy neighbour who likes nothing better than dropping American bombs from 50,000 feet!

Or could it be that there is an oppressive stranglehold on their borders, manned by armed and aggressive foreign troops, forcing them to dig tunnels to get goods in from a neighbouring friendly Country? End the occupation and the siege and there will be no need for tunnels or armed resistance.

The real problem is that Israel does NOT want to end the siege or the occupation. Any fool can see that!
