Just when I was thinking I was getting an easy time in the run up to this by-election (apart from the poisoned food), I was woke up this morning by noisy workmen in the (surveillance) flat below and then a letter with an objectionable portrait on the top right corner telling me that an engineer is coming to service my gas boiler despite the fact they know I have no gas (external meter is capped) on Thursday (day of by-election vote) and if I don't answer they will force entry blah blah!

With 48 hours to go I (no doubt) will need to update this.

So workmen from the housing association have just arrived at the surveillance flat below at 4;30PM and started drilling on the wall, which of coarse is the same wall as mine!
 
So the Gas engineer haws completed his wasted journey with no dramas! What else will happen between now and by-election result?...I will update.
 
So the housing association workmen are back in the surveillance flat below banging hammering and drilling but it's the afternoon and I have music on so it ain't so bad.

Am I glad I never allowed myself to be bullied into not playing my music.
