Countries trade in arms all round the world, that is perfectly normal, whether it's moral is another argument.
Several European Countries including the UK sell and even donate arms to Ukraine that get used against Russia but that doesn't give Russia the right to militarily attack us.
By attacking an Iranian merchant ship in the Caspian sea, killing a sailor, you (Ukraine) have acted contrary to the UN charter and committed a brazen act of war against Iran, which they have every right to retaliate under the self defence clause of the UN charter.
