I remember that Andy Burnham was the bookies odds on favorite to win the 2015 Labour leadership contest, while Corbyn was a 500/1 outsider. Judging by the fact that he (Burnham) looks set to become PM now, you should assume that he WOULD have been a credible alternative to Theresa May in 2017 had Tony Bliar not intervened and 'loaned' Corbyn the MP's he needed to get into the members vote and defeat Burnham. Lets hope Mr Burnham is aware of the fact that Bliar intervened to stop him becoming PM in 2017!.
As for these right wing 'rumours' that Burnham will make Milliband Chancellor instead of the qualified economist that's already there? That would be a disaster and like Gideon Osbourne would impose austerity on us Christian dopes, while spending all our money on International development (Israeli expansion).
