So Israel's Offence Minister today said he would occupy what he calls buffer zones in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria indefinitely. Then they wonder why everyone (in the region) hates them and why they are permanently at war with their neighbours?

If I was to occupy part of my neighbour's garden so their kids can't kick their football towards my property, I would be in a permanent conflict with that neighbour. If I was too big and strong that my neighbour couldn't remove me from their property, they would get the Police to remove me. Where are the world's Policemen who should be removing Israel from other people's property?????
Israel would probably argue (wrongly IMO) that they went into Lebanon and Gaza because they were provoked by Hezbollah and Hamas respectively but no one provoked them into invading Syria. Hussain didn't get away with invading Kuwait, Russia didn't get away with invading Afghanistan and Ukraine. Why are Israel 'getting away' with invading and occupying Syria?
What IS the point of having International Law if it can't be enforced Justly upon ALL Nations. Some will say that Israel is not a legitimate State, that they imposed themselves on that region under the (tried and tested) threat of Truman's nuclear weapons.
If Israel wants to be treated like a 'proper' State, it's going to have to fall in line with the International rules based order including respecting other state borders AND allowing the Palestinians the respect and dignity that comes with having THEIR own State!

Israel (and the US) really do have a cheek saying that (unlike them) Iran can't have Nuclear deterrent weapons, when you consider Israel was formed under the threat of Truman's nuclear weapons, which at that time (1948) were not a deterrent as he (Truman) was the only one with them, they were a grave threat to humanity. Going by that fact alone let alone the previous fact (Japanese Cities), I would be more worried about a Nuclear armed America and Israel, than a nuclear armed Iran.
IMO it's a fact that Jewish president Truman threatened my Country with Nuclear annihilation (like with Japan) in 1948 if we did not cede control of Palestine. That in true Trump caps lock style is UNFORGIVABLE IMO!! Especially if you consider that America would never have defeated japan and Europe if we were on Germany's side. It was defeated and kidnapped German scientists that unlocked the Nuclear secrets, he (Truman) never developed them! Never trust people who stab you in the back!!!!!!!
America only stopped after other Countries (including UK) developed their own weapons as a deterrent. THAT is why I am sympathetic to Iran craving a deterrent while Israel and the US have these devastating weapons and a proven willingness to use and to threaten to use them.
