Removal Of Palestinian Refugee Status

In 1948 when Jewish settlers occupied Palestinian land that is now called Israel, Palestinians were forced to flee to neighbouring territories in fear for their lives. Most ended up in what is now Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria, where they gained Refugee Status because they were militarily forced from their native lands. Around a year later (1949), the UN recognised Palestinian Refugee Status and started helping them with aid centers like this one. Now the criminal occupiers in Israel are trying their damnedest to strip Palestinians of their Refugee Status by illegally commandeering UN official buildings (like this one) across the occupied territories, while the impotent International community say little more than Tut Tut!

The reason Israel wants to strip Palestinian Refugees of that Status is because if you are a Refugee, recognised by the UN, you have the right to return to your homeland if the political situation there, allows it. A very unlikely scenario but never the less, Israeli's don't like Palestinians having that right...or any rights really!
