The IRA and their political arm Sinn Feign were a terrorist organisation during the troubles and it's then leader Gerry Adams's voice had to be spoken by an actor here. Now the first minister in N. Ireland is from that political party. The point is that if you don't talk to your enemies, how can you resolve differences? Also if you exclude sections of that community (Hamas are just Palestinian fighters), how can you have peace? I've said it so many times, you can't defeat Hamas with bullets and bombs, you will only embolden them and make them more determined. You have to defeat them politically by removing the cause for their existence (illegal occupation). The problem however lies with Israel, not Hamas as Israel does NOT want to end the occupation, in fact it wants to expand it!
